HUELLA

This recent project thinks over the importance and value of artist Ricardo Wiesse’s monumental ceramic mural.

As one of Lima’s s aesthetic urban landmarks since the 1990’s, this emblematic work of public art – that has been recently restored – offers a visual experience inspired upon a rhythmic abstraction of the Peruvian coastal landscape.

The restoration of the mural, in a material and symbolic manner, suggests the possibility of restoring ourselves as society and community.
