MISTERY

A pause in a journey south of Lima.

These images follow some concepts of the New Topography, photography school of the 1980´s that proposes the deceleration of time until it becomes an opportunity for observation and analysis.

The shots reveal a dialogue between architecture and landscape as the horizon joins the edges of the building in a continuous line that extends beyond the territory bounds in the twilight of a summer evening. Seems difficult to decode the architectural typology of the edification due to its volumetric composition and pigmentation. The doors and windows have been bunged color matching the building giving an abandoned effect like a monochromatic model that seems to contain all the information that the landscape hides within.
